The Alternate ICC
It's 2007 and despite Yorkshire finshing 6th in the County Championship the previous year the coach was sacked and replaced with the unknown Dorian Brooksby. A culling of the squad's pre-madonnas was first on the list, but eyebrows were raised when they were replaced with unknowns, such as Thompson, Lees and Hargreaves. Cup Quarter Finals
Both the 1st XI and 2nd XI narrowly lost in the cup quarter finals at Burley and Steeton respectively. The 1sts only made 109 on a Sabina Park 1998-esque wicket and only lost by 3 wickets, whilst the 2nd XI came up short by five runs, chasing a decent 220.

The 3rd XI progressed to the semi-finals of the Sunday Section Halifax League Cup where they will play at Norden on July 5th.
2009 Duck Cup and 6s League Updates
Both Brooksby brothers still lead the way at the half way stage with Vez going for a century of 6s before the end of the season it looks like.

In the Duck Cup, however, Chris Goulden has charged back into the mix, whilst a series of ten ducks over the last five matches means it is unclear at the moment who will win. Luke and Dicko have the advantage of a diamond so time will tell whether this will prove decisive.
