Player profiles (E to H)

Craig Fellows (Right hand bat, Right arm two overs for 45)

'Craig' doesn't really have a nickname. Thought I'd start with that. He's had a run as 2nd XI captain in recent years as well as being an integral part of the 1st XI set-up. Unofficially retired from bowling after Robin Uthappa hit him to all parts of Halifax (and rumour has it Bradford as well) in a Twenty20 match at Illingworth in 2004.

Mark Fellows (Right hand bat, Wicketkeeper)

'Mark' doesn't really have a nickname either, like his brother. If he does I don't know it. But anyway, Mark captained the 1st XI for two years in 2004 and 2005 before handing over to Richard Smith in 2006. He has always been one of the club's leading batters, scoring loads of runs, including 498 runs in 2006 with a best of 84. Also is the club's first choice wicketkeeper.

Karl Gornall (Right hand thinks he's better than he is, Right arm anything but his awful leg spin that he bowled at Rastrick)

'Hoggy' is one of the 2nd XI fringe players in between his Subway commitments and also is vice-leader of the 3rd XI on a Sunday. Karl has been at the club since he was a wee kid and has developed into a really good clubman who's always willing to put money into the till behind the bar.

Graham Hall (Right hand bat, Right arm retired)

'Chief' spends his spare time working at Pizza Hut when he's not ripping through every batter at training with his vicious net bowling. A key opening batter for the 2nd XI, Graham scored 379 runs in 2006 and made his 1st XI debut in the same season. Can absolutely mash the ball miles and will be hopuing to do so for some time.

Bob Hargreaves (Right hand batter, Right arm uppercut to your face)

'Snarling Bob' is one of the most competitive players at Illingworth, brought about partly by his refereeing in the off-season. Bob is the 2nd XI's leader and has been at the club for ages, making many 1st XI appearances along the way. Was out with injury for a while in 2006 and will be hoping to come back and make an impact in 2007.

Karamat Hussain (Right hand slogger, Right arm rapid)

'Kara', like Bob, has been at the club for a while and now does not play as frequently as he once did. He still has his pace and his smashing ability with the bat, however, as he shows in the 3rd XI and occasionally 2nd XI. Also an experienced taxi driver, so if you ever need a taxi just give him a buzz and he'll see you on your way, just like many 3rd XI batsmen.
